We recently added new layout templates to the Upcoming Events web parts (as for example the one displayed to the right. The Upcoming Events Web Part displays the upcoming appointments of the selected Sharepoint Calendar.
The Web Part can be used with Windows Sharepoint Services V3, MOSS 2007, Sharepoint 2010, Sharepoint 2013, Sharepoint 2016 and Sharepoint 2019. 
A property filter, the field template, header & footer text, the data refresh interval and the number of items to be displayed can be configured. The web part expands both recurring and multi-day events.
