MailNet is a software product that enables users of Microsoft Mail to exchange mail with people on the Internet. A single copy of MailNet Server running on Windows NT acts as a gateway between Microsoft Mail and Internet Mail. This means that incoming mail from any Internet site is received by MailNet and deposited in the addressee's Microsoft Mail mailbox on your network; and outgoing mail to any Internet site can be composed and sent from your users' Microsoft Mail client interface, and is then dispatched to the Internet by MailNet.
