Special Edition Using Microsoft Outlook 97

Gordon Padwick, Helen Feddema, Pamela Palmer, Sharon Podlin

This massive tome is geared to those who definitely want more than an elementary introduction to Outlook - especially those who want to learn about using Outlook in a workgroup. It not only gives advice on using Microsoft Exchange Server- related features such as Public Folders, but explains how to use Outlook with other messaging services such as Lotus cc:Mail, and CompuServe Mail. Like some other Outlook guides, it takes you through the process of creating and automating forms, but Special Edition Using Microsoft Outlook 97 also offers a real primer on using VBScript and explains the Outlook Object Model. The appendices in Special Edition include a glossary, a resource guide on where to find out more about Outlook, and an at-a-glance view of the options within each section of Outlook. This is a big book with relatively small print and screenshots, and some users might find the sheer volume of information a bit daunting. But if you want the meatiest book on Outlook available, get Special Edition.
