Directory Exchange Connectivity Icom Solutions Ltd
Directory Exchange is a fully automated application which synchronises mail address directories of disparate office systems. All e-mail systems maintain user directories containing names, addresses and other attributes of recipients to whom mail may be sent. Recipients may or may not share the same post-office as the sender. They may have their post-office on a different LAN, use a different e-mail system, or even use a different platform. In general there are directories for every ‘node’ on every e-mail system in an enterprise. When new user information is added to a particular e-mail directory, associated e-mail directories also need to be updated. To do this manually is time consuming, error prone and is an administrative burden. Directory Exchange will provide an automatic solution.
